Turo Host Repair Process – Mr Flames Paint & Body
Report the Damage to Turo
- File your damage claim through the Turo app or website.
- Wait for Turo to email you the claim details.
Call Mr Flames Paint&Body
- Call us or send us a message with your claim details.
- We’ll review your claim
Bring Your Vehicle to Our Shop
- If the vehicle is undrivable: An appointment must be set up. At the scheduled time, go to the tow yard with one of our repair specialists to release the vehicle. Our tow truck will handle the removal. Please note: you must be present.
- If the vehicle is drivable: Simply bring it in yourself at your scheduled appointment time.
During Repairs
- If hidden internal damages are found: We will request an aditional repair estimate from Turo.
- Turo will send you the additional estimate: You must forward this estimate to our email so we can review what Turo has additionally approved for repairs.
Payments
- Turo does not pay us directly like other insurance companies.
- Turo will send you a direct deposit for the approved repair estimate on your vehicle.
- You must pay us directly for the repairs.
- For every estimate we request from Turo — whether for exterior or internal damage — Turo will send you separate payments.
- One of our team members will guide you through this process.
Finalized inspection
- Connecting a Diagnostic Scanner: Mechanics use an OBD-II (On-Board Diagnostics) scanner to check for any active or pending trouble codes.
Vehicle Release
- Vehicle is returned to the customer at the scheduled appointment time.
